The afternoon will unfold as follows:
12 noon, The Crown
Join them first in The Crown, Birmingham's oldest pub for some traditional pieces celebrating Ireland's rich history of song, including "My Lagan Love" and "Carrickfergus".
12:30pm, The Kerryman
Then move on to the second venue, where the richness of Notorious' talent abounds as soprano Louisa Davies-Foley and her band Elfynn take to the stage. Describing themselves as "Celtic with a kick", this band draw influences from rock and reggae played on fiddle and accordian.
1.15pm, The Spotted Dog
Raise your glass one more time for the final, more modern, section of the day. An uplifiting arrangement of U2's "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" is just one of the treats this contemporary section has to offer.
If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing Birmingham's premier non-audition choir, we thoroughly recommend this introduction. A great excuse for spending the afternoon in the pub, you can mix beer and culture and explore some of Birmingham's greatest pubs.
